The beat is nice, as well as the piano you add in the middle of the song but...

It sounds empty, and at times can be a tad repetitive.

I don't know if you are going to work on this more, but a suggestion would be to add in more piano, like give it a counter-melody that coincides with the main strings that I'm hearing.

Or you could make a bridge (it might not be called a bridge but whatever) in the song. Change the key, freestyle with the strings, give the bass a more in-depth rhythm, have some piano.. (unless you can't tell by now, I <3 piano)

Since this seems like a a beat someone would rap/sing to, I suggested the bridge but anyways...

When I heard the piano , I had no idea where you were going to take it.

I really wanted to listen in to see what you'd do with it (Not like I would listen anyway).

I also don't think it wouldn't go in the ambient category, but I don't know if that really matters to you.

The piano is pleasent, but I think it's the glitch that makes it "less ambient".

The guitar was cool also, I liked the rythm and how you introduced it in the song.

Heh heh, yeah, the piano sort of just accents this and that. I used the keys as more of an ambient backing to the whole song, with little jazzy quells here and there. I took it out of ambient. Tossed it in miscellaneous as usual. : \

Yeah, its not nearly anything close to ambient glitch music. Which i tried to get in the other song of the similar title "Letters from an iceberg".

I'm glad you liked the guitar too! i've just been recently teaching myself. : D

The beat...

The piano is beautiful.

But the beat takes away from it's heart-felt appeal

Or at least I think.

I don't know if you have, but try experimenting with some reverb on a snare. and some hi hat, to give it a softer, more melodic theme.

But if that's not what you're going for, ignore me lol.

Are f'ing awesome.

Especially the ones at the beginning.

01:02 ,you could bring in a bass. It's screaming for it, and it would be an awesome add-in. I was hoping for it when it came in, but still.

The beat is real good. I really like it.

Another suggestion would be to add in another solo, or maybe use the one that is played in the middle of this piece, and add it to what is played at 01:02, along with some sweet pads...<3

Sounds like you were doing a lot of downstrokes during the beginning.

It sounded really choppy, and I was expecting something much smoother.

The electric solo was very nice, that was a sweet ad in.

You fixed my part at 1:43ish. When you did the harmony, it was a good idea, but the notes you chose to harmonize with went away from the overall key of the song.

I agree, I still like the intro more, but this is good too.

Keep it up man!

Speak of the devil...

I was just browsing some of my favorite songs and after to listening to your song The Silver Monster,
I saw this.

First thing I thought was...Moonlight...Sunlight...uh...

Wow!

You did so much more with this.

You have way more variation in your piano, your opening theme is more defined in the original. It sounds...happier, in a sense. The other sounded a bit melancholy.

The drums were great. The glitching went more with the beat. It was random in the right spots, if that makes sense lol. The voice was a nice touch. Couldn't understand a lick of what was said, but awesome regardless. Everything just melted together so nicely.

What I loved about this song is everything compliments another. My attention doesn't avert to the piano the entire song. I go from the piano, to the beat, to the synth. The whole thing is just captivating.

I wish I could offer some sort of constructive criticism towards this, but alas, I feel that I am in no position to critique something as good as this.

And you better believe that I enjoyed it damn it!

And now I realize what your music reminds me of.

I'm glad to see you enjoy this one. This is probably the most work I've put into any one song. So the turn outs been well. I'm going to start even more meticulous work on songs from now on.

With this track, i was really working on making variations and transition and a smooth even flow into such. So i think it turned out well from all the good responses : D

I wanted everything to be interesting in this song, so i worked with everything individually and such. So it worked out! : D

Same as Cosmos, I've played FF8 so many times, as well as it being one of my FF Top Favs so I'm blown away with what you did with this.

You took this song to a completely new level.

Right now, I'm just expecting you to soon remix the opening theme for FF 13, or maybe even FF13 versus.

The part at 2:13 took my breath away! Simply amazing!

Out of the many remixes I have heard, the ones I've had the pleasure of listening to that you have made are among the best.
