Hey man!

The first half the song, the beat is real good, but the melody is very empty.

I almost lost full interest in the song until the main melody came in, but not many people stick around and wait for that long to hear the main part of the song. Trust me I know, I have a tendency to do it too.

To be honest, that isyour only problem. The melody is empty. The main melody has more presence than the first, but there could still be more though. I know alot of songs who don't have alot of "tools" to make up their melodies, but theirs doesn't sound as empty as yours does. But then again, I'm a big melody fanatic so it could just be me.

Overall, a good song to build off of!

Very good. It sounds midi'ish. Is it supposed to? XP

I understand the no drums or bass thing. Usually taking those two elements out gives a song a more...heart felt feel, like this song. ^.^

Like, I understand that it is supposed to sound weird because there is supposed to be an error, but...

I thought it could have sound a bit better.

The ending part, I agree with the guy below me, was probably the best part, and it IS really good, I'm not trying to sell you short or anything.

Maybe you should try another way to build up to the final sound. It's not bad, it just needs a bit of work.

other than that...

I have a feeling your cd is going to be pretty darn good.

I agree with welshassassin, this song has major potential. It's good, but it could be so much harder...I get the overall feel, but I'm not getting that "BOOM BOOM".

But if I download and play it in my car, that might change.
