[When I Was A Kid]

I can feel the imagination!

If you would lower the volume on a few instruments like the bell in the beginning. X_x, the strings that come in at around 00:13.

But otherwise, this song is GREAT!!

I just wish you would have added some pads to make it flow along a bit more. This reminded me of song box music..only to a degree but this is a really good song.

It's missing something though..

I guess for me it's the fact that it's not flowing along as well as I would like it. But this is really good. Nice job with this.

P.S.- I wouldn't really call this ambient, you could say it's almost jazz, but it could also be classical. I could careless but some people are picky about the genre stuff..

Yeah i try to add some more stuff to this but it was hard seemed like when i added something it threw it off balance thanks for the comment the synth was about 85 probably should of made it about like 65

But why does everything sound far away? Like you put a whole bunch of reverb on it or something.

Otherwise it's a great song.

The melody..

Is catchy.

But the overall song sounds empty.

It could be because your drums are kind of plain. (yeah, the drums are noobish. =D I know the feeling.)

Or it could be because you only have the synths playing their little melodies and they aren't really filling the song in. Maybe you could add some pads, or some bass maybe?

But that is only if you want it to sound full. A song like this would be good computer game music. It has enough movement to keep you interested, but it doesn't take your attention from the game you're playing.

I don't know, but to me, it seems that your songs are starting off really random in the beginning, then they smooth out near the end.

Not saying I don't like it, this is good, but I don't see this as one of your best either. But then again, near the second half of the song, I started to get a feel for it.

Is this a song you're using to make a cd with? If so..<3333

I would LOVE to have it. I'd promote the hell out of it.

You good. You like what you like. Maybe my brain bad, but I like what turned out. Perhaps I'm too interested in chaotic patterns at the moment. This song is kinda supposed to embody that anyway. The Black Monster is one to catch you on your opposite foot. You can't catch your breath with'em. I used a few different samples/sources/etc for this.

Any review is helpful. Speak your mind/feelings. Don't worry about me. I can handle it.

Wow..

This song seems to stand in between ambient and trance, but more so leaning in the trance department.

But regardless of this..

This sounds great.

And I can kind of tell you were tired of the song..lol

Near the end, the melodyand everything started to drag. I was hoping for a much stronger finish then what you gave.

But anyway, the first 3 minutes were strong at least.

The ending chord to the beginning triplet set is wrong..

And it killed it for me.

Now the middle part was correct, and it sounded really good.

I liked how you used the synths, I just wished you had used a bit of piano..=D

The beat is real nice.

You have really nice synths, but the way you have them going, it sounds a bit empty.

Maybe if you had some pads or something, it would fill it out a bit more.
