It gives me a different feel than ambient, can't quite put my finger on it though.

I know it isn't ambient, but more of a decedent of ambient music. I found it fit best in that genre then any others.

Very good.

The pads in the middle were very loud though...=/, at 00:53, and so was everything after that.

Even though you wanted it to be trance, it doesn't have to be so loud. Other than that though, it's good.

Yeah I realized that once I listened to it again. I made a 2nd version that is a little softer and sounds a lot smoother - I can send it to you if you want.

Well...

It sounds good to me, especially at 1:37...

but at 1:37, it would sound so much better if it wasn't so load and overbearing. That should be a real soft and gentlepart.

Near the end, the melodies are good, but it sounds like you're trying to give them all a significant amount of volume so you can hear everything, and it makes it sound clashed. Very badly.

I would suggest make everything a bit softer, especially at 1:37, like I said, because it's a real pretty part. Other than that, it rocked!

There aren't many people on newgrounds that I can say that to.

The beat sounded fine to me, especially at the end.

I do agree with him in the flow sensation. Having a beat that seems to sync with it more will have a more chill effect. But that's only if you want that effect.

Don't change it if THIS was the effect you were aiming for.
