Haha!

I was wondering when you were going to come back and make something!

Afraid you had fallen off the face of the earth.

As usual the beat is pumping and the bass is rocking.

The melody has its normal dissonant melodic rave core that only you can seem to manipulate.

Glad you sent me the link. :)

Well, for me..

The beginning is quite indecisive in its opening but it doesn't take it long to figure out what its motive is and then bam, there goes the melody.

After the melody comes out it just feels like its going on, without an barriers, propelling at its on pace, until it fades back again, un expectedly.

So.. hm..

Uprising?
or
Vagrant.

That's what I picture.

Otherwise, nice song.

You have such a unique style.

kjhsdgf responds:

i'm blushing, lol.
yeah, i've been tring to finish this song, but i can't find good chorus :\
i like Vagrant, just because of the definition (one who wanders, or something like that) kinda reminds me of how i do thangs.
but anyways, thanks for the review!

Ah!!!

Grrr!!!

Ok, so the strings came in and my curiosity was peaked.

Then at 00:20 you brought in the melody..

AH! It fits and then it doesn't fit.

I was listening intently trying to get that lacquered feeling I get whenever you hear a melody practically rest in the arms of what's accompanying it (i.e. the strings).

I figured that you had it that way and that later another melody would help fill in the gaps.

It didn't but that's alright.

That, in my opinion, was the only thing holding this piece.

Because it's a great song!

Your beats, I've noticed, are always great.

I could learn from you, since my beats never seem to come out right.

Keep up the good work!

:)

Ah dude!

When the beat breaks out at 00:50, what's holding it back is the bass!

The melody progression is amazing but the bass you have pumping in the back isn't helping pull out the melodies full potential.

If you were to switch that up to where it has a slight accompany melody with the main it'd be.. :OOO

The beat is awesome though. And the panning at 00:11.. <333

Good song man!

It's a first!

The first song I've heard of yours where a certain sound was, somewhat more or other, stagnant.

The pads in the back, (<33333) were amazing but you didn't switch them up or anything (which wouldn't have made sense but just saying!)

Really good! :)

I'd leave a more detailed review but my heart is somewhere else today..

But another fave, of course.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Heh heh, Its been a while since I've heard from you. How've you been?
Glad to see you're back and leaving a review!

Yeah, I could've fleshed this out more. I did intend to go back and change some things. Mainly some of the drum work and some other bits.

Ah weeeeell.

:O!

This is actually really good!

I could hear it is as a platform game soundtrack for like DS, or PSP. You've got a little Jamaican tuneish thing (rastas and weed.. :3), and a snazzy tropicana beat. I'm digging it!

And what's best is the lively melody you have going throughout! ( I knew you'd have no problem there!)

Classical and Videotech? Continue to surprise me. :D

Tomppaah responds:

Thank you very much! :D That's exactly what i was going for, this jamaican feeling. I actually called this tune "RustaFari" before i renamed it after a pizza to "Tropicana" :D.

Oh i make all kinds of music. Everything is so much fun to make and i always learn something new with every genre i try. But to be honest, i love making orchestral music the most :). Too bad i'm not THAT great at it yet ;S...

Thank you again :)

Dude!

So many ideas sprung into my head hearing this for a classical piece.

GAH!!

I would so attempt it but the vsts I use or samples suck so I wouldn't even dare to attempt.

But man..

This could be turned into a song that would blow your mind.

Ah, nice.

You have great visualization and the melodies do make you think about the questions asked.

But for me, the concurrent piano melody that you have playing in the background is extremely annoying.

The sfx were used pretty well.

The synths you used clashed a lot to me it seemed in the middle of the song. I don't know if it is because they were strung out so had to give it a mellow feeling but..

otherwise..

Not bad mate.

Kuma-AKA responds:

Thanks for the constructive critisism, and thanks for the feedback. I may change the continuous piano part.

.. Lol?

Oh wow.

I'm sorry, I may seriously download this because it is so funny to me. LOL

What was going through your mind when you decided to make this?

AlternateOz responds:

My brother in-law and I were hanging out and playing with a music program.
I got out my guitar and we took it from there.... What was going through my mind...
Happy Bunnies and fluffy things .....

I feel da rushhh

This is cool!

I think what I would expect more is a deeper, more moving melody.

But what you have going so far is good. I'd love to hear more of it. PM me if more is done to it.
